Elephant Kingdom Experience

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to Habarana, located in the heart of Sri Lanka’s Cultural Triangle. The journey takes approximately 4.5 hours, passing through scenic countryside and rural landscapes.

Upon arrival, check in to your resort and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You may relax by the pool, enjoy the natural surroundings, or unwind after your journey.

Overnight stay: Habarana

After an early breakfast, proceed for a morning jeep safari at Minneriya National Park, world-famous for the spectacular Elephant Gathering, where large herds of wild elephants can be seen roaming freely in their natural habitat. The park also offers sightings of deer, buffalo, monkeys, and a variety of bird species.

Return to the hotel after the safari and enjoy a relaxed afternoon at leisure, making use of the resort facilities or enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Overnight stay: Habarana

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a morning climb of Sigiriya, exploring the ancient frescoes, water gardens, and panoramic views from the summit—one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic landmarks.

Following the visit, experience a village and countryside tour, offering an authentic glimpse into traditional Sri Lankan rural life. This may include village walks, interactions with locals, and learning about traditional farming and daily practices.

Thereafter, continue your journey to Colombo. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening at leisure.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for your departure flight. The drive time is approximately 1 hour, depending on traffic conditions and flight schedule.
