Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to Sigiriya, located in the heart of Sri Lanka’s Cultural Triangle. The journey takes approximately 4 hours, passing through scenic countryside, rural villages, and lush landscapes.

Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. You may relax at the resort, unwind by the pool, or enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings after your journey.

Overnight stay: Sigiriya

After breakfast, proceed to visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Sri Lanka’s most important cultural landmarks. Explore the impressive cave complexes adorned with ancient murals and statues of Lord Buddha, offering insight into the island’s rich religious and artistic heritage.

After the visit, return to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure, relaxing amid the serene surroundings of Sigiriya.

After breakfast, proceed to visit the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a guided climb to the summit, exploring the water gardens, frescoes, mirror wall, and breathtaking panoramic views from the top of this ancient rock citadel.

Later, enjoy an immersive village and countryside tour, offering an authentic experience of traditional Sri Lankan rural life. This may include village walks, interactions with local communities, and learning about traditional farming methods and daily practices.

Return to the hotel and spend the evening at leisure, relaxing after an eventful day.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin a scenic long drive to Yala, taking approximately 5.5 to 6 hours. The journey showcases Sri Lanka’s diverse landscapes, from dry zone forests and open plains to southern countryside.

Upon arrival in Yala, check in to your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure, relaxing and preparing for the safari experiences ahead.

Overnight stay: Yala

An early start for a morning jeep safari in Yala National Park, renowned for having one of the highest leopard densities in the world. In addition to leopards, you may encounter elephants, sloth bears, crocodiles, deer, and a wide variety of birdlife.

In the afternoon, proceed to the Bundala Bird Sanctuary, a Ramsar listed wetland and a haven for bird lovers. Bundala is famous for migratory birds, flamingos, and diverse coastal ecosystems, offering a contrasting wildlife experience to Yala.

Return to the hotel in the evening.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for your departure flight. The drive time is approximately 5 hours, depending on traffic conditions and flight schedule.
